14 Ice Cream Pies for Pi Day

ice cream pie recipes

Celebrate Pi Day (March 14th) with these easy & tasty recipes.

March 14th is national Pi Day. What better way to celebrate the Greek letter “π” than with the a tasty slice of pie? I’ll tell you a better way – make them ice cream pies! Pi is used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. What food is more constant than rich, creamy ice cream? It’s an afternoon treat, a staple at birthdays and other celebrations, and a reminder of summer afternoons spent chasing the ice cream truck to get your favorite flavor.

Luckily you don’t need warm weather (or sticky hands) to enjoy ice cream. There are many wonderful and creative ways to use it for your favorite pie recipes. This Ice Cream Cookie Pie from Lilac City Momma is just four easy steps to tasty!
