For our 30 Days of Romantic Getaways on Day 10, we are focusing on Shipshewana Indiana!
Last year, my husband and I took a day trip to Shipshewana Indiana for our anniversary. We had a terrific time so I am adding them to my list of Romantic Getaways!
When we first arrived in Shipshewana, we stopped at Eash Sales.
Eash Sales is at 1205 North State Road 5. They have Handcrafted furniture, gazebos, swing sets, log cabins, wood burning stoves, kitchen products, Thomas Kinkade, Demdaco, home decor, lots of hard to find items. Old Fashioned Values. After spending time walking around there, we drove to Wana Cup Restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, we went to the Yoder’s Red Barn Shoppes and walked around. Well dare I say shopped too!
Then we drove to downtown Shipshewana. You have not been a more lovely and vibrant downtown area for such a smaller town! There are so many stores to choose from! We then spent the remainder of the day walking around shopping and we took a carriage ride around the town.

The great thing about Romantic Getaways is that sometimes a simple day trip can be a great getaway!
