In honor of the Mickey Mouse 90th anniversary, I have this great birthday cake Oreos fudge for you to make at home.
Mickey Mouse will be ninety years old on November 18! In celebration OREO released a limited edition Birthday Cake flavor. Below, I have a birthday cake Oreos fudge recipe I know you will love.
90 years ago, Mickey Mouse debuted in Steamboat Willie. Several redesigns later (He has a doctor in Beverly Hills) his most recent look more closely resembles his appearance 90 years ago. In-between he has been a recurring star in Disney shorts, features, and kids shows. He has also been the company mascot in more ways than one. Sorcerer Mickey is the mascot for Imagineering, Steamboat Willie Mickey helms Walt Disney Animation Studios. There is even a conductor Mickey for Walt Disney Records. This is different from the Silly Symphonies Bandleader Mickey (#MissedOpportunity).
Mickey’s Career at a Glance
Mickey Mouse developed into a character that became as groundbreaking as the Studio that produced him. He was the Brave Little Tailor, A Band Leader, a Clock Cleaner and a Sorcerer. Later on, he appeared in Mickey and the Beanstalk which lead to future films like The Prince and the Pauper and The Three Musketeers. He was also the leader of the Mickey Mouse Club. Despite a large gap in Mickey cartoons through the 60’s and 70’s he bounced back in the eighties with Mickey’s Christmas Carol and has continued to evolve along with the Disney audience to this very day. Now, Mickey and his pals are funnier than ever in the Emmy winning series Mickey Mouse, which will become part of theme park history when Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World next year. Of course, Mickey has also appeared in grocery stores throughout the years. Most recently on limited edition packages of Birthday Cake Oreos.
