Easter Books are a great gift idea to put in your favorite little one’s basket. Lots of family memories will be created as you are reading the books together. We always put two books into our kids baskets each year.  One is an Easter themed book, and the other is a book that we know they will love.

The Best Easter Books for Kids

Since Easter will be here before we know it, I thought I would update our Spring book list so you can start planning ahead. This year Easter will definitely have a unique spin, so we have to be thinking outside of the box.

Easter is not only a religious holiday, it’s also the holiday that marks that Spring is officially here! Besides filling the kids’ baskets with hollow chocolate bunnies, sweet jelly beans, and bubbles, how about adding a few books into the baskets too?  The great thing about books is that you can add in the titles and genres that each child will love!

I’ve put together a fun list of Easter books that cover everything from friendship and adventures to baby animals and of course bunnies!

Must Reads for Babies and Toddlers

HUG ME LITTLE BUNNY

I absolutely love these types of books!  When my kids were little, I loved doing this interactive book with them! Then as they grew older, they were able to do the books themselves, so it was great to watch them improve not only their fine motor skills but their imagination as well.

• The affectionate story line inspires the bond between family and baby and encourages relaxing moments spent together
• Book makes a sweet gift for new and soon-to-be parents

Where Are Baby’s Easter Eggs?: A Lift-the-Flap Book

Lift-the-flap books are another type of book that is great for toddlers!  You can start off reading the books to them and showing them what is inside the flap.  As they grow older, they can lift the flaps by themselves and use their own imagination telling the story.
