We are finally finished! After only 3 short hours, our girls’ bathroom remodel is ready to be revealed! Thank you, Pfister, for sponsoring our bathroom remodel, it is beautiful and amazing!
What do you think? Do you love it as much as we do? Unfortunately there wasn’t a great place for me to stand in our girls bathroom to get a full shot of the remodel so I will be adding photos in sections.
Before & After Bathroom Remodel Reveal
Here is what the faucet looked like before. I realized I hadn’t taken a picture of the one in our daughter’s bathroom, however, since we had the same faucet in our bathroom, this was the before.
It was a woodland animals theme before. Honestly, the theme wasn’t that great. It felt right at the time, but the fixtures became dated and my girls outgrew the animals theme. It began to feel childish and gimmicky.
So when the chance to update the bathroom with new faucets came up, we grabbed at the opportunity! In addition to the new faucets, we added a few new decor pieces and it was like an entirely new bathroom.
I can’t wait to hear what you think. And let me know if you are going to be doing a remodel soon!
How The Girls Chose The Bathroom Remodel Theme
We all wanted the theme to reflect a place they love to go. We wanted the girls to feel relaxed and happy when they walk into the bathroom to get ready for school or do their bedtime routine. It wasn’t long before we all agreed on the beach them.
They love the beaches of Florida. The sun, the waves, the sand. It’s a place they feel the most relaxed and alive at the same time.
So when my girls and I decided on the theme together, the beach was a unanimous decision. I loved just chatting with them about their favorite Florida beach to visit. We all just knew the beach theme was the perfect idea for the remodel.
Working Together On The Remodel
We all joined together as a family to do the remodel. It was simple with Pfister. Every part was a breeze to install.
The girls and I helped out my husband with the installation and decorating. As a team, the entire process only took 3 hours.
The girls’ favorite parts were the cool faucets and the shells. They like the faucets because they are modern with a traditional twist. The chrome finish is shiny, like the waves on the ocean when it reflects the sunshine.
Pfister Bathroom Products We Used
I love the look and feel of the Pfister bathroom fixtures we used. We chose polished chrome because it was the perfect shine to match the relaxing vibe of the beach theme.
Here are the products we used, with close-up pics of them in our new bathroom.
One Venturi Tub & Shower Combo (valve installation required)
Two matching Venturi faucets of any type – center set
Matching Venturi accessories (e.g towel bar, robe hook, paper holder)
Bathroom Remodeling Tips
During the remodeling and redecorating process, we learned a few things that I wish I had known before. I hope these tips help you so you don’t have to live out our mistakes.
Find the Plumbing Access First
The most frustrating part of the remodel, at least for my oldest, was the fact she had to clean out her closet as the access to the plumbing for their bathroom is in her closet. If I had known that is where the access was, we would have begun cleaning out her closet little-by-little long before the project started. Then, it wouldn’t have felt like such a daunting task.
All in all, that wasn’t such a big deal. But one little bit of information could have helped us out a lot.
Here is a picture of the valve access and the brass ring that had to be replaced.
How Easy It Is To Change Fixtures
I wish I had known how easy it is to change out fixtures and how much it freshens up a space to have new faucets. If I had known this, I would have done this a long time ago. The entire bathroom looks so so different and it wasn’t even that much work.
The New Girls Bathroom Remodel
We are seriously loving this new bathroom! I love the bathroom and tub faucets. The Pfister faucets are a wonderful addition. They give the girls bathroom remodel a fresh shine that makes me smile every time I walk in. With as easy as this remodel was, I am already thinking about adding new faucets to my kitchen.
