10 New Summer Attractions in Orlando

One of our favorite destinations has always been Orlando. There is always something new to discover every time we go there.  It’s definitely looking like Orlando is not going to disappoint in 2018! They have a fresh new Summer attraction lineup that will provide something for everyone in the family!


Did you know that Travelocity recently named Orlando one of the Coolest Places to Go in 2018 and with these newest attractions?  With all of these awesome new attractions, I can totally see why!

Here are the 10 New Summer Attractions in Orlando that you will need to add to your travel itineraries!

Universal Studios Florida newest attraction, the Fast & Furious- Supercharged ride, which is based on the popular film franchise, will surely thrill the thrill seeker in your family! The concept for this ride is an after-race party that turns into a high-speed race to escape a criminal cartel! Just like in the movies! Make sure to hold on to your seat!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens Toy Story Land on June 30!! This is a must for families to check out! Toy Story Land will feature two new attractions and new merchandise and dining locations. Families will be able to take the newest generation of Toy Story fans into Andy’s imagination with rides such as Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash!

Walt Disney World Resort of course is a must visit attraction for families! Since Incredibles 2 is hitting the theatres on June 15th, there will be no better time than to party with The Incredibles’ Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and of course Frozone during Disney’s Incredible Summer! Make time in your schedule to also visit Epcot to listen to Guardians of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord and Gamora and an alien band play tunes from the movie!

Madame Tussauds Orlando’s is another must stop at! Even if you have visited Madame Tussauds before, you must visit again! This year you can be a part of the action and stand alongside Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman figure and be a part of the “Justice League: A Call for Heroes” . There will also be replica props and costumes that will add a special dimension of authenticity to the experience!

LEGOLAND Florida Resort opened The Great LEGO Race on March 23. The Great LEGO Race is the first VR roller coaster experience designed just for kids and features Lego mini figures. Your little Lego fan will love this ride!

SeaWorld Orlando will be debuting Infinity Falls this summer! Infinity Falls is a whitewater rapid adventure raft ride that will take you through a lost jungle, through fountains, and waterfalls before dropping an astounding 40 feet down into the churning whitewater! Did you know that a 40 feet drop is a world record for a river raft ride! That will definitely be a rush!

Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark will be highlighting Ray Rush this Summer. Ray Rush will be featuring three ways to get soaked. It will be a perfect way to cool off on those hot Florida Summer days!

The Orlando Starflyer located on International Drive will be opening on June 1st. This ride is feet tall and is the world’s tallest swing. Oh, and did I mention that it will be swinging guests through the air at up to 60 miles an hour at top speed?

Orlando Watersports Complex is Central Florida’s first Aquapark! At the complex you will find a series of inflatable, interlocking climbing obstacles, pathways, and slides for hours of water fun!

Nona Adventure Park is a destination for outdoor adventurers! Complete with rock climbing towers, a bistro, snack bar, pro shop, the world’s first solar-powered water ski and wakeboard cable park PLUS an inflatable water park, this will be one attraction you won’t want to miss!
