Mickey Mouse will be celebrating 90 years come November. It’s unbelievable that the mouse that started it all actually began nearly a century ago. Especially since his latest work on the Disney Channel is funnier and more full of life than ever.
Mickey is always a popular guy around the parks, but if you are planning a Disney World Vacation within the next year, you should make some time to say happy birthday to the big cheese himself. Listed below is where to meet Mickey Mouse at the various parks in Disney World. Plus, I have some bonus Mickey Mouse news!
Of course, you don’t need to look to hard to find where to meet Mickey Mouse in Magic Kingdom. He’s right at the front of the park, but he is kind of tucked away. His location is set up next to the theater. This is a very popular place to meet Mickey Mouse so be prepared. If you can get a Fastpass, but if you meet Mickey first thing in the morning there should not be too much of a wait.
Mickey is available at Epcot as a farmer in The Land pavilion. Garden Grill is a character meal in a revolving restaurant that has changing views of the Living With the Land attraction below. This restaurant is where to meet Mickey Mouse. It is a good opportunity to fill up on great food and meat a handful of classic characters in the process.
Mickey appears in his rare sorcerer costume to meet with fans in Hollywood Studios. At the end of Commissary Lane is where to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie, too. Red Carpet Dreams is a small production and meet and greet opportunity. Mickey also wears his Sorcerer costume in the night time spectacular Fantasmic!
Mickey and Minnie meet guests together in Animal Kingdom as well. When you are in this park there are two options of where to meet Mickey Mouse. First, the Adventurers Outpost is the place to be to get a photo and shake the hand of the great Mickey Mouse. He and Minnie will be in their Safari costumes. Mickey also greets tables at Tusker House, which is a character buffet in the park.
Another choice of where to meet Mickey Mouse is in his restaurant at the Contemporary resort. This place doesn’t require a park ticket to enjoy. However, it is one of the pricier buffets.
Mickey Mouse News for 2019!
Move it, Shake it Dance and Play it Street Party is going away. This January it will be replaced by a new production. Move it Shake it Mousekedance it will be the new celebration featuring Mickey Mouse and all of his friends in front of Cinderella Castle. The limited time celebration will have floats surrounding the Main Street Hub for the party to commence. The Dapper Dans and Casey Corner Piano player will also be part of the celebration.
