Butterbeer Float

After  you've tried this fabulous concoction at Universal Studios, you know you'll need to make it when you get home!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rootbeer
  • 2 cups cream soda
  • 1 cup Torani Syrup buttered rum, caramel or butterscotch
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Caramel or Butterscotch ice cream syrup topping
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  • Melt butter in the microwave until a liquid
  • Stir Torani syrup into the butter until blended
  • Add the rootbeer and cream soda to a large pitcher
  • Stir syrup and butter mixture into the soda (do this gingerly to limit fizzing)
  • Add the ice cream into the glasses/mugs
  • Pour the drink mixture over the ice cream
  • Add the ice cubes if you made them
  • Top with whip cream, drizzle with the syrup topping and enjoy!
  • Another way to make this is:
  • Melt butter in the microwave safe dish until it's a liquid
  • Add all of the ingredients, except for the syrup and whip cream, into a blender
  • After everything is mixed together thoroughly, pour into glasses, top with whip cream and the syrup and enjoy!
