Pecan Pie Recipe


  • 1 unbaked pie crust or you can make your own
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 3/4 TBSP brown sugar
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Roll out the pie crust and put it into the pie pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the vanilla, butter, brown sugar, sugar, salt, eggs, and corn syrup.
  4. After chopping the pecans, pour them into the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.
  5. Pour the mixture over the pecans.
  6. Cover the top and the crust lightly with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Then carefully remove the foil and continue baking for 20 minutes.
  7. At the end of the cooking time, check the pie to see if it's set. It should be slightly jiggly in the middle. If it's still not done, put back into the oven and check every 5 minutes until it's set.
