Ingredients

  • 1 package store bought Sugar Cookies OR make Sugar cookies from a mix
  • 1 container White Frosting
  • 1 package Gummy Bears
  • 1 package Whoppers Candy or other malted candy.
  • 1 package Tootsie Rolls
  • 1 package Mini Pretzel Sticks
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Lighter optional

Instructions

  • If you are using a sugar cookie mix, follow the directions and bake accordingly.
  • Once the cookies are light golden brown, remove them from the oven and let them cool. While the cookies are cooling, prepare the frosting.
  • In a small bowl, add the frosting and mix in the green food coloring a little at a time. (Remember you can add MORE but you can’t SUBTRACT food coloring). Mix together until you find the right color consistency you are looking for. Then spread the frosting onto the cookies.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut knife marks lengthwise into the tootsie rolls so they resemble logs. Cut the gummy bears into 3 pieces and dice the whoppers into small pieces.
  • Next sprinkle some whopper pieces onto the middle of the cookies. Then take 3 tootsie rolls and lay around the whopper pieces in the shape of a triangle.
  • Place some of the gummy bear pieces inside the triangle of tootsie rolls to resemble fire flames. Poke a pretzel stick into a marshmallow but not through it. It will look like a roasting marshmallow on a stick. Repeat this for as many as you need.
  • Place 3 of the marshmallow sticks on each cookie in a pyramid shape over the campfire, making sure the marshmallows touch at the top.

Notes

An optional step: Take a lighter and run it over the marshmallows to give them a roasted look!
