12 eggs 1 medium onion peeled and diced 1 bell pepper diced 8 oz diced ham 1 cup 2% milk Salt and pepper to your liking 1 cup shredded cheese 1 small tomato diced Fresh chives
Add a tbsp. of oil to your cast iron skillet, place it on your stovetop and turn the heat to medium.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
While the pan and oven are heating, cut up the veggies.
When the cast iron skillet is heated, add in the ham and vegetables.
Sauté the vegetables and ham until the vegetables are soft.
Whisk the eggs together and add in the 2% milk and the salt and pepper.
Slowly pour the egg mixture into the skillet and stir everything together.
Then place the skillet into the oven.
After about 10 minutes, add in the diced tomatoes and the shredded cheese.
Continue checking every 7 minutes to make sure that the frittata is cooked thoroughly.
To test the doneness of the dish, stick a knife into the center of the frittata. If it comes out clean, then the frittata is done.
