Ingredients
1 ½pounds80/20 hamburger
⅓cupsweet oniondiced
1green pepper finely chopped
2clovesgarlic minced
2teaspoonsyellow prepared mustard
3cupsketchup
1tablespoonMontreal Steak Seasoning
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1tablespoonlight brown sugar
1/2cupwater
Instructions
Brown beef in a large skillet on medium high heat.
Once browned add in onion, green pepper, garlic and steak seasoning. Cook 10 minutes uncovered, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat to simmer. Add mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and water. Simmer 20 minutes stirring every 10 minutes.
Toast buns in the toaster to likeness and top with sloppy Joe mixture.
Notes
This easily serves 4-6 if using 1/2 cup mixture. If using a half bun it will serve 8.
