Instructions

  • Preheat your oven following the directions on your box of cake mix.
  • Line your muffin tin with the cupcake liners.
  • Prepare your cake mix as directed on your store-bought cake mix box.
  • Using a cookie scoop, add the cake batter into the liners. Fill the liners until they are ⅔ filled.Bake the cupcakes until they are done approximately 15 minutes, or the time listed on the cake mix bought from the store.
  • Remove the cupcakes when the oven when they are golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cupcake comes out clean.
  • While they are cooling, make up your frosting.Empty your container of frosting into a mixing bowl, add one drop of green frosting in at a time until you get your desired color.
  • Then slowly incorporate a tablespoon of powdered sugar at a time. Your end goal is frosting that is stiff enough to pipe and that will hold up once it’s dried.
  • Put the icing tip into your cake decorating bag and push the tip down to the bottom of the bag.
  • NOTE: It will not go all of the way down. It will stop very close to the bottom.
  • Push the tip up a bit so you can cut the bottom of the bag off. Then re-push the tip to the bottom.
  • Fill the bag with the green frosting and then begin piping the cupcakes.
  • As soon as the cupcakes are frosted, add a bunny to each cupcake and add a few of the candies around the bunny.
  • And that is it. Are these not the cutest cupcakes for Easter ever?
