HOW TO MAKE OUR EASY EASTER BUNNY CUPCAKES

    Ingredients:

Cake mix (use ingredients listed on the box)
    Ready-made frosting
    Powdered sugar
    Decorating bags
    Wilton frosting tip #2010
    Green food coloring
    12 Ghirardelli little bunnies
    Sixlet candies
    Easter Cupcake Liners

    Directions:

Preheat your oven following the directions on your box of cake mix.
Line your muffin tin with the cupcake liners.
Prepare your cake mix as directed on your store-bought cake mix box.
Using a cookie scoop, add the cake batter into the liners. Fill the liners until they are ⅔ filled.
Bake the cupcakes until they are done approximately 15 minutes, or the time listed on the cake mix bought from the store.
Remove the cupcakes when the oven when they are golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cupcake comes out clean.
While they are cooling, make up your frosting.
Empty your container of frosting into a mixing bowl, add one drop of green frosting in at a time until you get your desired color.
Then slowly incorporate a tablespoon of powdered sugar at a time. Your end goal is frosting that is stiff enough to pipe and that will hold up once it’s dried.
Put the icing tip into your cake decorating bag and push the tip down to the bottom of the bag.
NOTE: It will not go all of the way down. It will stop very close to the bottom.
Push the tip up a bit so you can cut the bottom of the bag off. Then re-push the tip to the bottom.
Fill the bag with the green frosting and then begin piping the cupcakes.
As soon as the cupcakes are frosted, add a bunny to each cupcake and add a few of the candies around the bunny.
And that is it. Are these not the cutest cupcakes for Easter ever?
