PHOTO USE AND LINKING POLICY
BEFORE YOU USE ANY OF OUR IMAGES OR LINK TO MOMSKOOP, YOU MUST READ THESE GUIDELINES.
Photo Use Policy
The recipes that you find on Momskoop are made for this site.
For me, cooking and baking is how I relax.
Many times, I will remake a recipe up to three times before I share it on here. Then when you add in the time to write the post, the time it takes for photography, and the time I spend promoting the post, there are many times I spend over 12 hours just on one recipe.
So, while I am flattered that you want to share my work, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with my guidelines so there are no misunderstandings.
General Guidelines
If you’ve tried one of my recipes and you would love to share it with your family and friends, that is the biggest type of flattery you can give.
HOWEVER, you can NOT, I must stress CAN NOT copy and paste the recipe in full. You are NOT allowed to copy and paste my recipe on social media or website.
Also, all of my photos are watermarked in some way. Just because you remove the watermark, doesn’t mean it’s yours. My photographs are my copyrighted property.
You are NOT allowed to use my recipes for promoting your products without written consent from me.
E-Books, Digital Publications, and Magazines
You are NOT allowed to use our images and recipes without our permission and written consent in any form of digital or written form.
If we find that our recipes and photos are being used, a DCMA will be filed, and other appropriate measurements will be taken.
Restaurant Menus
You are NOT allowed to use our photos in any form of advertising for your restaurant, brand, company, Facebook page, Instagram, Small Business promotion, etc. This also includes restaurant menus.
If you are running a food business, this is YOUR time to shine. This isn't the time to use others licensed work to promote your business.
If we find that our recipes and photos are being used, a DCMA will be filed, and other appropriate measurements will be taken.
Facebook Guidelines
If you would like to share a link to my recipe with your friends, that is acceptable.
DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE FULL RECIPE/INGREDIENTS IN ANY FACEBOOK GROUP.
If it’s determined that you have, the proper DCMA guidelines will be filed to have it removed. You will NOT be contacted first.
If you see one of my recipes or posts on our Momskoop Facebook page and you would like to share it, just click on “share” and share the direct link.
AGAIN, DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS TO PROMOTE YOUR RESTAURANT, BAKERY, OR FOOD BUSINESS.
I do random searches throughout the month and if it’s determined that you have taken the recipe or photo without my permission, a DCMA will be filed. No questions asked. You will NOT be contacted first.
Recreating Recipes
Are you a blogger and after trying one of my recipes, you would love to recreate it for your readers? Please follow the guidelines below. If it’s determined that you did NOT follow these guidelines, the proper DCMAs will be followed.
- Make sure you create YOUR OWN photo(s). DO NOT USE MINE.
- You MAY use my list of ingredients as they are written since ingredients are NOT copyrighted.
- BUT you MUST, TO REPEAT, YOU MUST rewrite the directions and the post in YOUR OWN WORDS. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE MY WORDS, TIPS, OR DIRECTIONS. I run copyscape randomly and if I find that you are copying and pasting, DCMA's will be issued.
- AND make sure to link back to me and my recipe and state that the recipe was “Adapted from the recipe that I found on Momskoop”.
Round Ups
Are you a blogger and are looking for recipes to include in your round up? First of all, thank you for the consideration!
You are welcome to use a photo with a link to the post in the roundup. Definitely let me know if you include us so we can share the roundup with our readers. BUT PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THE FULL RECIPE, LIST OF INGREDIENTS, OR DIRECTIONS. Or you will be asked to remove us from the roundup.
