Whether you’re a breakfast fan or pro brunch, the most important thing to remember is that breakfast and brunch food is great any time of the day!
Breakfast is one of those versatile meals that can be eaten either first thing in the morning or for a comforting dinner.
You may be asking yourself what the difference between breakfast and brunch? Brunch is simply a meal eaten later than breakfast and earlier than lunch. When we have brunch, it’s normally around 10/10:30. That way we incorporate both breakfast and lunch.
Your breakfast meal planning can be either simple or quite an event. You can serve up basic eggs with a side of meat, muffins or smoothies for those who eat on the go, or you could make up these tasty parfaits and customize them for each member of your family.
Brunch is enjoyed at a much slower pace then a weekday breakfast. Some of the foods you can serve for a brunch are waffles, pancakes, eggs, hash browns, bacon, a variety of breads such as sweet breads, coffee, quiche, pastries, oatmeal, grits, orange juice, muffins, bread, milk, coffee, and yogurt with fruit toppings.
Brunch is a great time to relax and reconnect with your family all while enjoying lots of yummy food.
