GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q: Can I use your photo in a round up?
A: Yes, you can. Make sure you read the guidelines HERE before use any link or image.
Q: Can I post your recipe on my blog/my site/ or on my social media channels?
A: EVERY photo on my site, including recipe photos, has some type of copyright on them. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to use them UNLESS you are sharing a link to one of the posts or recipes. Then you are allowed to use ONE photo that links directly to the post. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE ENTIRE RECIPE. Or a DCMA will be filed. Make sure to check out my Photo and Linking Policy BEFORE you link to anything.
Q: What happened to the comment I left?
A: We have our comments set to moderation in an effort to combat spam. I read every single comment that is left, and the decision is made whether or not to share it. If you leave your website link in the comments, that link will be removed. We do NOT allow linking to your website in the comment section.
Q: I have an “UNIQUE GUEST POST THAT YOUR READERS WILL LOVE”
A: While I truly do appreciate the consideration, we do NOT allow guest posts on the site. After deleting hundreds that were promised to be “unique”, we no longer allow those on the site. Again, thank you for the consideration.
Q: Do you consider Sponsored Posts?
A: Yes and no. It will depend on the item, if it follows the guidelines set forth by the FTC and if I think our readers will benefit to the item.
I do NOT accept sponsored posts that involve HVAC, lawyers, celebrities, dating, and gambling. and things similar to this. This isn’t my audience so; therefore, it wouldn’t be authentic.
Q: Will you do a product review in exchange for a sample?
No, due to our full content calendar, we will NOT provide product reviews in exchange for a sample.
Q: How can I get your recipes and latest news?
A: By signing up for our newsletter! I promise I will not spam you with daily or weekly updates. You may receive a monthly newsletter, or a newsletter shout out if we publish a giveaway or a post that we think you will really want to see!
RECIPE QUESTIONS
Q: What if I want to print out your recipe?
A: At the end of each recipe, there is a recipe card that you can print off, so you have the full directions and ingredients.
Q: Why didn’t your recipe turn out for me?
A: There are a number of reasons that it may not have turned out. You could have added an incorrect ingredient, you could have measured something wrong, you could have set the wrong temperature. Or your environment could have affected the recipe (humidity, altitude, or your oven). Let me know what happened and we’ll see if we can help you figure it out.
Q: Can you provide nutritional information?
A: I will provide an “ESTIMATE” based on the ingredients I used. HOWEVER, you will need to use the app you normally use and the ingredients you used to figure out the exact information.
