Frozen party punch is such a fun party treat! It works for a variety of parties, it's versatile, and it's a party favorite!
This easy blue frozen party punch would be perfect for a Disney Frozen Birthday party, a Frozen 2 pre-viewing party, or honestly for any reason at all!
FROZEN PARTY PUNCH
I don't know about your kids but my youngest is counting down the months until Frozen 2 is in the theaters! I have to admit that I too am excited! Have you seen the official teaser trailer for the movie yet? If not, make sure you check this Frozen post out.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED TO MAKE BLUE FROZEN PARTY PUNCH?
Sprite, Lemonade, Ice, Blue punch or food coloring
WILL THE BLUE FOOD COLORING/FOOD DYE CHANGE THE FLAVOR OF THE PUNCH?
No, the food dye/food coloring, will not change the flavor of the punch.
HOW TO MAKE FROZEN DRINKS THICK?
- Use crushed ice
- Mix sugars first
- Add the fruit
- Add the ice last
- Then blend to your desired consistency
CAN YOU SUBSITUTE BLUE HAWAIIAN PUNCH INSTEAD OF THE FOOD COLORING?
Yes, you can make the substitution. The Hawaiian punch will add a bit of a different flavor to the punch, however, your guests will love it! We actually mix punch and Sprite together a lot at parties and it is always a hit!
HOW TO MAKE FROZEN DRINKS IN A BLENDER:
- Use a powerful blender (preferably one with a frozen drink button)
- Use crushed ice; not cubed
- Use frozen fruit (if adding fruit)
- Don't blend for too long OR use the pre-programmed button for frozen drinks on your blender
I have been making party punch as long as I can remember for our parties. I will often vary the punch depending on what type of party we are having. For Halloween, you could make a yummy Witches Brew Punch, for Valentine's you can change this recipe up by using pink lemonade or pink food coloring, or for an upcoming birthday this sweet punch will definitely hit the spot!
