How to Make a Marshmallow Snowman On a Stick

If you have ever wondered how hard it is to make a Marshmallow Snowman, don’t worry as it’s easier then you think AND it’s easy on the budget!

This is an edible Marshmallow Snowman craft, so you don’t have to worry about the little ones getting into something they shouldn’t if they put one in their mouth!

To add an extra flair to the whipping cream, check out our Easy Peppermint Whipped Cream recipe!

Here are a few tips for making a Marshmallow Snowman:

Can I Use Mini Chocolate Chips Instead Of The Decorating Gel?

Absolutely! To put the mini chips onto your snowman, you could use a dab of light corn syrup on the back of the chocolate chip.

Is It Okay To Use Candy Wafers In Lieu of The Decorating Gel?

Yes, just follow the directions on the back of the wafers, add it to a piping bag and put the face on the Marshmallow Snowman!

What If I Don't Have Small Bamboo Sticks?

It’s ok to use the larger ones, just use a pair of pliers and snip the top of the skewer off to make them shorter.

Expert Tips, Ingredient List and Suggestions for Recipe Success

    • Large marshmallows - you will need one for each snowman
    • Bamboo skewers - for the marshmallows to sit on
    • Wilton Sparkle Gel (orange)  - for the nose
    • Wilton Sparkle Gel (black) - for the eyes, mouth, and hands
    • Blue Pearlized Sugar Crystals (for your hot chocolate)
    • Your favorite hot chocolate mix
    • Whipped cream

    Step by Step Directions

To make the Snowman bottles also in the photo, save a Frappuccino or iced coffee bottle, hot glue on three pom-poms, add some ribbon and you have a Snowman bottle! Perfect for cold milk if you prefer!

To enjoy these Marshmallow Snowmen, you can stir the marshmallows into your hot chocolate or you can eat them carefully off of the skewers.  It's totally up to you!

Step 1: Put three marshmallows on a skewer and draw your Snowman’s face using the gels.

Step 2: Fix your hot chocolate, top with whipped cream, and add on some blue sugar crystals for an extra special touch.
