When you hear about women with thinning hair, you probably think of women who are older. I know that was my view -- until a few years ago.
I wasn't even 40 yet and my hair went through some changes I wasn't excited about. I've always had thick hair. My mother used to say it was like trying to braid a horse's tail. Then, after the birth of my second child in 2009, it began to fall out more than usual. I definitely noticed, the drain after each shower wouldn't allow me to ignore it.

I've tried almost everything: styles that made it less obvious, cutting my hair shorter, growing it longer, oils, scalp scrubs, natural supplements, and more. So far, nothing has worked.
