Normally when you think of a Tiramisu Martini recipe, what ingredients come to mind? Sure, a chocolate liqueur, some Kahlua, vodka or rum and heavy cream right?  When you thought of that combo, you didn't think of moonshine did you?

    Tiramisu Martini

I hadn't thought of that combo either until I read the ingredients on a jar of Sugarlands Distilling Company's Pina Colada moonshine. This "shine" combines the yummy taste of coconut milk and fresh pineapple!  When I saw that, I knew I had to create an unique twist to a classic martini!

Now, I need to warn you that this recipe is not like anything you have had before.  It's wonderful!  I think you will enjoy!

Before we talk about the recipe though, here is a list of the creations that the five distillers at Sugarlands, together with their backgrounds in distilling and their passion for their craft, have created:

**Make sure you check out the printable recipe at the bottom of the post and an extra bonus!

Some of the flavors that are available at Sugarlands Distilling are:

    Jim Tom Hedrick’s Unaged Rye
    Mark Roger’s American Peach
    Mark & Digger’s Rye Apple
    Mark & Digger’s Hazelnut Rum
    Tickle’s Dynamite Cinnamon
    Patti’s Wild Mayhaw
    Appalachian Apple Pie
    Blockader’s Blackberry
    Butterscotch Gold
    Maple Bacon
    Mint Condition Peppermint
    Old Fashioned Lemonade
    Pina Colada
    Root Beer
    Silver Cloud Tennessee Sour Mash
    Southern Sweet Tea
    Blueberry Muffin
    Peanut Butter and Jelly
    Butter Pecan Sippin’ Cream
    Dark Chocolate Coffee Sippin’ Cream
    Electric Orange Sippin’ Cream
    Pumpkin Latte
    Strawberry Dream
Roaming Man Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey

Here is how to make a Tiramisu Martini With A Twist:

    Tiramisu martini

    Ingredients:

    2 oz Pina Coloda Moonshine

    1 ½ oz heavy cream

    1 ½ oz kahlua

    1 ½ oz chocolate liqeour

Dash of Tickle's Dynamite Cinnamon Moonshine

Cocoa powder to sprinkle on the top (optional)

    Whipped cream (optional)

Shaved chocolate - just a dash or in my case way too much!  There is never enough chocolate for me!

In a shaker, combine ice and all of the ingredients EXCEPT the cocoa powder and shaved chocolate.  Shake everything together in the shaker until shaken thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a martini glass, top with the whipped cream, cocoa powder and shaved chocolate.
