Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups are a sweet and tasty way to serve up fruit for an ice cream themed party or just for a fun after school snack.

    Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups

These yummy Fruit Waffle Bowls are a naturally sweet AND fun way to serve up fruit to your kids!

These fruit filled cones of sweetness are refreshing, a great way to cool down, and they would make a fantastic party dish! And unlike real ice cream, you don't have to worry about them melting!

    Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups

The great thing about fruit cups are that you can buy any type of fruit your family likes.   My kids are all about grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi so that is what our fruit cups had in them.  Of course you can't have fruit without a touch of whipped cream!

You could also serve these in waffle cones, waffle bowls like we did, or even in cute little bowls with fun spoons.  The possibilities are endless. And now that Summer is here, it's even easier to find their favorite fruits in season!

    🥘Ingredients:

    Waffle bowls

Fruit - a variety that your kids will enjoy

    Whipped cream

    🔪Instructions

Wash and cut up the fruit.  You can dice it or leave it whole.

Arrange the fruit in each waffle bowl and then top with whipped cream.

TIP: To prevent the bowls from getting soggy, don't prepare the fruit cups until you are ready to serve them.

Enjoy your waffle cone fruit bowls!

    ❔FAQ

How to Plan A Fun Ice Cream Party!

If you are planning an Ice Cream Themed Party, then you definitely need to check out either our Upside Down Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes or our Ice Cream Cupcakes that don't melt!

Our Sugar Cookies that look like Ice Cream Cones are so versatile to make, you can customize them to match the colors you are choosing for your party!  Make sure to download our party printables so you have everything you need to create an ice cream themed party your guests will never forget!

How Do I Prevent the Waffle Cones from getting soggy?

There are two things you can do to prevent your cones from getting mushy. The first thing is to make sure that when you wash your fruit, let it dry on a clean kitchen dish towel or a drying mat.  My second tip to is not fill the waffle cones until you are ready to serve them up.

Another idea you can do is to set up a Fruit Cup station and let your guests or family fill up their own bowls when they are ready to eat the fruit.

Can I Prepare the Fresh Fruit before a party?

Yes, you can go ahead and wash, dry, and cut up the fruit, however, to prevent the cones from getting soggy, don't fill the cones with the fruit.

Our store normally has them with the ice cream toppings and cones on an end cap in the frozen section near the ice cream. If your store has a separate ice cream topping area, I would look there first. Good luck!
