How to Make These Yummy Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups

These yummy Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups take eating fruit to a new level!  My kids, at least, love it when I serve up ordinary food in an unique manner.  I don’t know if it’s because it looks different or if they think it will taste better because it isn’t served in a plain way?

As a parent, I feel pretty fortunate that my kids love fruit.  Ever since they were babies, they have loved it so it’s a staple in our home.  I always have fruit readily available for them since it’s a great alternative to other sugary treats.

Since it’s still in the heart of Summer here, and with keeping with our Ice Cream Party theme, we decided to come up with these yummy Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups!  They are naturally sweet, a fun way to serve up fruit to your kids, they are cool and refreshing and they would make a fantastic party dish!

The great thing about fruit cups are that you can buy any type of fruit your family likes.   My kids are all about grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi so that is what our fruit cups had in them.  Of course you can’t have fruit without a touch of whipped cream!  You could also serve these in waffle cones, waffle bowls like we did, or even in cute little bowls with fun spoons.  The possibilities are endless. And now that Summer is here, it’s even easier to find their favorite fruits in season!

Make sure you check out the end of the post where we have included four other Ice Cream Cone food ideas for you to try with your family!
